How do I care for my product?
We recommend oiling with a food-safe oil every few months to give your product a refresh.
To oil, use a lint-free cloth and rub the oil onto all sides of the product, ensuring you follow the grain of the wood. Leave to absorb for 20 minutes and wipe away any excess. Once finished, dispose of the cloth safely by sealing in an air-tight bag.
How do I clean my product?
With all our products being made from hardwood and being finished with oil and wax, they are not dishwasher friendly. Therefore, we suggest washing with warm water. Try to avoid using soaps as this can remove the oil and wax finish.
What products do you recommend for after-care?
Any food-safe oil will nourish and protect your product. For an added extra, we love Clark’s Orange and Lemon Scented Beeswax which smells divine.
How long do your products take to make?
As our products are handmade in our small workshop, they vary in production time. Generally, each serving board can take between 5 and 7 hours of work plus the 24-48 hours of drying time for epoxy and glues. The process begins with selecting the perfect piece of wood and ends with hand wrapping and packaging the final product.
What are your products made from?
All of our products are made from hardwood and/or epoxy. As we use locally sourced wood from around the UK, our supply of hardwoods can vary due to the time of year and level of demand. Each product clearly states the product specifications that have been used.
Where are your products made?
We are a small, two-person team in the heart of Suffolk. Alex looks after the workshop and is in charge of handcrafting each product whilst Sam helps with the finishing touches and daily admin.
How long does postage take?
When purchasing one of our products, we aim to ship it the next working day. We currently offer two posting choices, first-class signed for which is priced at £8 and second-class signed for which is priced at £6. This means someone will need to be present to sign for your order.
If ordering a custom design, the lead and postage time can take anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. This is to allow time to hand-craft your product to a high standard and ship it you safely.
Where do you deliver to?
Currently, we are only able to offer UK delivery through Royal Mail. This is due to the size and nature of the product.
